Light Photos

For me personally, it was hard to decide when my favorite time of day is. Each time has its pros and cons, and I have seen pictures from all the different times of day that I really like. After thinking about it for a while, I decided that night was my favorite time of day. Although there is not much natural light at night, I like the options that you have to create interesting pictures at night. During the day you are not able to take light away, but at night I like the freedom that you have to take away or add as much light as you want to create the desired background that you want for you picture.
I really like the effects that natural light has on a picture, but aesthetically, I find artificial light more pleasing. I love to see night skyline pictures and see all the different colors, shapes and sizes of the different lights. You have so many lighting options during the night that you do not have during the day. It is easier to create the perfect lighting situation at night and I like to have that control to get the perfect shot.
